Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains, plainly, what this Site stores in your browser and why. We've kept this short because there isn't much to disclose.
1. What we actually use
This Site does not set any advertising cookies, and it does not load third-party analytics scripts. The only thing it stores in your browser is a single entry in local storage (a browser storage mechanism similar to a cookie) that records whether you clicked "Accept" or "Decline" on the cookie notice, so the notice doesn't reappear every time you visit. That's it — no unique advertising ID, no cross-site tracking, no profile.
2. Cookies vs. local storage
A traditional cookie is sent back to our server with every request; local storage stays entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to us. We use the latter, which is one reason our server logs (see our Privacy Policy) don't include any cookie-based tracking identifier.
3. What happens when you click an outbound link
This Site links out to third-party sites, including a disclosed Amazon affiliate link (see our Advertising Disclosure). Once you land on Amazon or any other third-party site, that site's own cookies and tracking technologies apply, governed by its own cookie and privacy policies — not this one. We don't control what a third-party site stores in your browser.
4. Managing or clearing storage
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser's settings (usually under "Privacy," "Clear browsing data," or "Site settings"). Doing so will simply cause the cookie notice on this Site to reappear on your next visit.
5. If this changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising technology that sets additional cookies, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above to reflect it before it goes live.
